Coast to Coast on Turtles

I will try and sum up the last 5 years on this blog. The Hoka Hey Motorcycle challenge has really change my whole purpose for riding. It use to be just something fun and for me long rides have always been preferred over lunch and dessert hops. Over the years since 2010 when I first found out about the HHMC to now the adventures have been amazing.
In 2010 riders were challenged to go from Key West, Fl. to Homer, AK. I did not make it to Alaska but rode 11,000 miles that trip.
In 2011 was the Granddad of HHMC's and started in Mesa, AZ rode through all 48 contiguous states and finished in Cape Breton, NS where I did finish and rode 18,800 miles that trip.
In 2012 Was started in Las Vegas, NV. and ended at Wolf's Run in Irving, NY located on the Seneca Indian Reservation. I finished!
In 2013 Was started and ended at Wolf's Run in Irving, NY  I finished! This was the most fun year for me tag teaming with a bunch of different riders and being rescued by a team of riders with light bulbs for my head light.
In 2014 was from Key West, Fl. to Homer, AK. but my ride was cut short when I crashed in Marietta, Ga. before I ever got started so........
ON July 5th 2015  I started my journey from KW to Homer and was successful at reaching Homer FINALLY, the same day but one year later to when I crashed in Ga. making my trip in under 12 days.
So here we are looking at 2016, the journey will be exclusively in the USA this year from the Pala Casino and Resort in Pala, Ca. and ending in Irving, NY at Wolf's Run. I am now the rider relations director for the event and have spent the winter giving my input and efforts to make this 2016 challenge AMAZING!!!!!! http://hokaheychallenge.com/
