This past weekend I had the privileged of going along with some amazing people I had no idea did what they do. I've escorted the living and fallen soldier before but until yesterday there were no faces with those heroes. There was no information other then maybe a name of one of our very owns son or daughter, sister or brother, husband or wife or just a friend. We somberly and respectfully bring this faceless hero home to their resting place say a few nice things and maybe even shed some tears but then our obligation to this hero has been filled. Or has it? I met a group of people yesterday that say no that isn't where it ends. These faceless heroes have family that scarified a member of their flesh and blood to give all even their life for our freedom. Families that grieve daily over the loved one they lost who served our country. That is where my new friends come in. They go to the homes of these heroes and present them with very touching symbolic gifts to help them cope with this tragedy and spend time letting them know they are not alone. Each person took the time to personally talk with the family member, hug them and yes even cry with them. I will never be the same. Thank You all for allow me this honor.

And so It begins Again!

Motorcycle riders do some many good things on those two wheels too. Try and think of any event involving motorcycles that some nonprofit organization doesn't benefit. I heard a online broadcast talking about this very subject and the question of fund raising was posed asking is it excessive, because EVERY event you go to someone is fund raising. Being guilty of this very thing my answer to that is NEVER. You can't out give GOD and if you are giving with the right heart You will be blessed. And no one is asked for much but collectively a little becomes a lot. We have our passions for Our Country and those who served, we have passion for the sick, we have passion for children, we have passion for our four legged friends, we gather around one of our own in need and support them through whatever it is they are going through. I don't see anything excessive about that.
Unfortunately the ones who ruin our desire to give are the ones who don't do what they say they are going to do with the funds. We need to be educated about what we are supporting but not so cautious we don't trust anyone. Ask questions, read the information if available and a lot of them will even give something to donate on line after you have looked things over. We never know when we might be in those shoes that either we are the one asking because we are passionate about it or we are the one in need, God forbid!

If at first you don't suceed "Try, try again."

Okay so basically what I am blogging about today is that I do have the greatest Turtles® in the World! As I have been going along I also feel the greeting are improving as with anything of that nature, finding exactly what someone else would say in a sentimental way is not easy. Instead of continuing on with the big names we have come to know and support although there is not a loyalty connection, we utilize them because we have built a trust for the product they sell and are willing to share it with others. Building that reputation is what I hope to accomplish with my customers in the hopes that when you think of sending a gift of this nature I can be the name you trust to send a quality product.
So, tell ya what I'm gonna do......
IS $5.00 to much for you to give Turtlegrams.com a try? I will also include a $5.00 off coupon for Your next purchase! SO WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?????
Please share and follow for MORE yummy offers.......
